Mónica Cruz The New Face Of Agent Provocateur’s Fall-Winter 2012 Ad Campaign

Since opening in 1994 Agent Provocateur has not only managed to establish itself as a leader in luxury lingerie but it has also become known for their racy ads featuring some of the sexiest women – Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Moss, Josephine de la Baume.

Today the brand presented Monica Cruz, Penélope Cruz’s younger sister, as the new face of their F/W 2012 campaign. Who knew even knickers were subject to seasons.

The campaign, shot at an old Victorian prison in London’s Clerkenwell, “tells the story of an enigmatic woman whose true Agent Provocateur spirit is revealed by a magical camera. Her inner sensuality is unveiled, and she mesmerizes and bewitches.” The accompanying video, shot by Tim Pope known for his videos for The Cure and Neil Young, shows the seductive racy side of the Spanish dancer and actress who might just be the sexiest face for the brand yet.

The new collection features a rich and dark colour palette – it is meant for winter, after all – and mixes layered lice and ruffles with silhouettes created to define the figure.
