When working with apartments which tend to have “limited’ space for storage, it can be a bit of a challenge.  However, furniture designers have created some amazing pieces that not only add a “wow factor” – they also have a practical purpose.  Many of the styling projects I have worked on all have one common thread, the need for extra storage.  There are many new designs out there, which can give you the added space needed and yet appear to be a beautiful piece of furniture added to the room for the simple purpose of style.  Depending on your personal taste and budget, there are a number of ways to have the look you want and the added room to put those books, papers, games, laptops, and such out of sight.   Scandinavian design and the industrial raw look are two of my top choices.   What’s your style?  You just have to decide what will really work in the space for you and truly rock it!  Happy storing!

“Coming from San Francisco, I moved to Amsterdam as part of following my passion to experience life in another country. Amsterdam had an appeal that I absolutely loved. That same passion lead me into interior styling. Being able to create a look for a space is the best feeling. It is a challenge at times finding exactly what works and what doesn’t, but that is all part of the journey. Being able to bring to reality a look that is special and unique is the creative process in motion. It’s what I love doing.”
