Tomorrow monday 5 november will be 5 days dedicated to celebrating the Wool Week 2012 ,an initiative of The Campaign for Wool .the officially start will be at the Hotel Dry with the exhibition of twenty-one leading Dutch fashion and design creatives their unique woollen designs.
Top designers, Dutch alumni and Women of Wool show their woollen designs .
Designers: Bas Kosters, Jan Jansen, Frans Molenaar, OntFront, IDE Rienstra, Jan Taminiau, Hans Ubbink, Hyun Yeu, and YOUASME MEASYOU.
Alumni: rented apartment with Raul Amier (WdKA), Peet Dullaert (ArtEZ), Brian Geradts (ABK Maastricht), Marjanne van Helvert (Gerrit Rietveld Academie), Chrissie Tarasovs (KABK), Noortje de Keijzer (DAE), Yvonne Kwok (AMFI) and Judith van Vliet (HKU).
Women Of Wool: Nanna, Conny Groenewegen, Claudy Jongstra’s Blaaderen and christien Meindertsma entered.

At the Openbare Bibliotheek (public library) children can get involved with wool on Wednesday 7 November at 14:00. Sam the Lam was told by his parents how important his coat is. Children (and adults) can repair their holey jumpers and hats with Woolfiller.
Wool de Bonneterie

This event is all about young creative talent. At the Maison de Bonneterie shop in Amsterdam, young artists will be at work from 16:00. The artists are Eva Bartels, Merijn Kavelaar and Michel Willemsen who will be working live on their artistic expressions of ‘the sheep’.
