Milan Mens Fashion Week Diary – Day 1

Milano: the city of fashion, design and amazing drinks and food! After arriving at our lovely apartment in one of the best locations of Milan we took some time to enjoy some spritz and lunch at Corso Como Café discussing our planned shows for the weekend. Milan fashion week (MFW) presents a massive program of runway shows, designer presentations and after parties.

MFW started Saturday June 22nd and one of the shows we were attending was Siviglia’s spring-summer 12/13 runway show.  We arrived at this lovely place and were welcomed with champagne and had some time to check out the backstage preparations before the show. Not much later we were brought to our front row seats: which was really nice!
Up close and personal, you could say, because the different patterns and details were so visible and unique it was perfect. Siviglia’s designs were catered to the sophisticated young man with class and style. The sense of detail and fabric on the suits was astonishing.

Later that day we were also invited to go to the presentation of Hogan. Creating shoes that are luxurious, contemporary but have that cosmopolitan look is not easy, but Hogan captures it all.

After passing Ed Westwick (gossipgirl) we ended our day at the Armani Hotel with the breathtaking view Milan.
Stay tuned for more Men’s Fashion Week Milan Day 2!
