Taiwan Part 2

Posted on | May 11, 2012 | No Comments

All can we say about Taiwan is we LOVE IT!! What a great amazing country. I wasn’t sure what to expect when going there, as you here so many things about China and Taiwan, that are not always very positive.
But the people are so very friendly and polite. Not submissive, just very polite. Which coming from Amsterdam, you are not always used too! There is a lot of respect for the elderly, they are considered wise and looked up to, this is also quite a difference then the western community.  Very hard workers, and in Taiwan is still very much the opportunity to make a career. Even as a nanny or a teacher you can be very successful, especially if you speak several languages.
What surprised me the most was that everything was so very clean, the streets, the kitchens, restaurants, even the markets.  Also its very modern, and even by the beach they have gogo dancers!
